Yoga is a mind and body practice. It can mean a variety of different things to different people, but for me yoga means union or connection to come home to yourself, as well as enabling you to become flexible and going beyond your comfort.
Physical movement of any kind makes us feel great and on one level, yoga is a very effective way of making the body move in every different direction, giving you the benefit of strengthening and lengthening all at once. On another level, the enjoyment of movement combined with deep conscious breathing is a complete game changer.
